CO2 Refrigerants – Natural Refrigerants

Unlocking the Future of Cooling: Embracing CO2 Refrigerants

In the ever-evolving landscape of refrigeration technology, CO2 (carbon dioxide) refrigerants are emerging as eco-friendly game-changers. Unlike traditional refrigerants, which often contribute to ozone depletion and global warming, CO2 is a natural and environmentally benign option. For this reason, it is considered a natural refrigerant. This groundbreaking refrigerant not only minimizes the carbon footprint but also enhances energy efficiency.

CO2 refrigerants operate under higher pressures, allowing for greater efficiency in heat exchange and cooling processes. Their remarkable thermal properties make them ideal for a variety of applications, from commercial refrigeration to air conditioning systems. Embracing CO2 as a refrigerant aligns with sustainability goals, offering a responsible solution for businesses and industries committed to reducing environmental impact.

The benefits extend beyond environmental considerations. CO2 refrigerants contribute to lower energy consumption, translating into cost savings over time. As regulations become more stringent regarding refrigerants’ environmental impact, businesses that adopt CO2 solutions position themselves as forward-thinking and socially responsible.

Join the movement towards sustainable cooling solutions. Embrace natural refrigerants and revolutionize the way we chill, ensuring a greener, more efficient future for cooling technologies.

Temprite’s products for transcritical CO2 are specially designed to handle the high pressures associated with transcritical CO2.

Temprite’s 130 Series addresses the unique and challenging demands of COsystems. The 130 Series of coalescent oil separators are designed specifically for transcritical CO2 systems and optimized for transcritical refrigeration applications. Additionally both the 920 & 920R Series can be used in subcritical applications up to 45 bar (650 PSI).

In addition to a range of five different sizes of separators, Temprite developed the RES7 and RES17 Reservoirs and the 48-1 and 48-2 Drier Shells specifically for transcritical CO2 applications.
