Temprite's Model 605 oil separator is designed to remove oil from the refrigeration system and return it to the compressor, resulting in shorter compressor run times, reduced energy consumption, and the highest possible return on investment. The Model 605 is a conventional oil separator utilizing impingement screens. The compressed mass flow enters a larger separator chamber, lowering the velocity of the mass. The atomized oil droplets collect on the impingement screen surface, and as the oil drops become larger, they fall to the bottom of the separator oil reservoir. The Model 605 is a hermetic unit. The separator must be changed after a compressor burnout.
